Job Description
Based in Central Birmingham
£45,000 - £60,000
Lead C++ Developer required for a global company based in Central Birmingham. This role would suit someone with substantial commercial experience within C++ development ideally with experience of interactive/real time full screen graphics development. Previous management or lead teams would be preferred as you would be responsible for a team of 4/5.
Working with an inspirational Development Director, you will be given career development, mentorship and growth within a development career.
Within the Team Lead C++ Development role you will be involved with multiple projects at any one time within a team environment. These projects will involve correcting bugged software, developing new features on existing products and involved with new products occasionally. In addition you would be involved with the hands on management of the team appraisals, sickness holidays etc.
Skills Required:
Strong C++ Knowledge (C++ 11 Beneficial),
Experience of developing across different platforms
A logical thought process.
Knowledge of control software (SVN/GIT etc)
Able to manage a team of 4/5 developers
Ability to run projects within the Development life-cycle
Ability to work with other people’s code and solve problems outside your area of expertise
Knowledge of Agile development
Development using TDD or BDD
Desirable skills required:
DirectX/OpenGL experience
