Job Description

(Software Development) Environment Analyst

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Environment Analyst to join a robust software transition technical team working for a large global company.

As a software development Environment Analyst in this varied role you will be responsible for:
  • successful build, delivery and maintenance of the test environments
  • pipeline delivery and maintenance of environments from development through to pre-production
  • executing and compliance monitoring of changes and releases across software development and technical improvement projects, enhancements and fixes
  • governance that changes align with change delivery lifecycle
  • health checks and monitoring on all environments
  • reporting on service transition activities
  • proactively review critical and non critical incidents
  • working closely with production teams, development teams, MI teams
  • problem management
  • service request tracking and execution in line with SLA’s
  • incident review for trending, root cause analysis, recommendations for continuous service improvements
 You will need to have the following experience:
  • ITIL service management lifecycle
  • Change and release management
  • Good analysis skills
  • Strong communications skills
  • .Net software development experience
  • Application support experience
  • Unix powershell scripting
  • Application release automation ie. serena or Jenkins etc
  • Knowledge of IT change delivery lifecycle
