GSA Techsource is currently recruiting for x2 Service Desk Technicians for our Public Sector client in Dartford. Within this role the successful candidates will be responsible for providing 1st first IT support across the organisation, as well as first time fix solutions or re-allocating support calls to other resolutions groups when unable to provide first time resolutions.
- First and second line IT support across hardware and software
- Logging calls jobs via the service desk system
- Planning and Scheduling on-site technician work
- Implement technical solutions to resolve IT Problems
- Explaining resolutions to technical and non technical users
- Maintaining documentation
- 2 years experience working within an IT Support and/or service desk environment
- Experience using Windows OS, email systems and MS Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem solving and organisational skills
- Knowledge of hardware components such as printers, scanners, laptops and desktops
