Job Description

GSA Techsource are recruiting for a Messaging and Collaboration Engineer who will be working for a client of a global IT provider.

The successful engineer will be reporting to the Microsoft 365 Project Operational Lead.

  • You will be implementing and supporting all Messaging and Collaboration production platforms globally, primarily Microsoft 365 and Exchange 2016.
  • You will be liaising with the Microsoft 365 Project Team (Engineering, Project Managers, external consultants, etc) to drive the project forward and ensure the operational deliverables are met within the published timescales.
Job Description:
  • You will be responsible for implementing, supporting and upgrading all infrastructure components. The platform operations team covers several technologies with specific focus on collaboration, including Microsoft Office 365, Cisco Webex, Microsoft Sharepoint , Microsoft Exchange and Symphony Messaging.

  • Working knowledge of virtualisation technologies.
  • Proficiency with Powershell and scripting technologies.
  • Working knowledge of Windows Active Directory and other core infrastructure components (i.e.Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory enterprise design principles etc.
This role falls inside IR35 and the rate mentioned is the umbrella assignment rate. 

It is a hybrid role, working from the London office.
