Job Description
Change Analyst
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Change Analyst to ensure all changes are assessed, approved and implemented in a controlled manner. You’ll work closely with Configuration Management and other ITIL back office functions as well as infrastructure services, clients and 3rd parties.
Skills/Experience required:
- Excellent verbal and written communications
- Ability to adhere to governance standards and processes
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Ability to handle high pressure situations in a productive and professional way
- IT knowledge (broad rather than deep) of IT systems and technology
- Adept at using Microsoft Office applications
- Proven customer support experience in a large global IT service support environment
- Familiar with Service Now
- An understanding of Service Level Agreements and their application
- Experience and a strong understanding of ITIL incident, problem, and configuration management is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage change requests from initiation through to closure
- Conduct quality assurance on each change request to ensure it complies with established processes and governance criteria
- Ensure that all changes to hardware and software are accurately captured and progressed to the Configuration Management Team to be added into the CMDB
- Compile and distribute the daily Forward Schedule of Change
- Compile and distribute the weekly CAB Agenda materials and CAB Minutes
- Compile the monthly Change Performance Review
- Compile Failed Change Reports when required
Qualification/Certification requirements:
- ITIL certification preferred
- IT or business degree preferred
