Job Description

We are currently working with an award-winning multi-channel retailer who has around 30 shops in the UK as well as a well-established e-commerce operation. If you are an experienced BI Developer who is looking for a challenge in an exciting environment then this is not an opportunity to miss.

You will be responsible for improving business intelligence and management information reporting, providing solutions which give the business accurate and invaluable insights into trading and key performance measures. Working predominantly with the Microsoft SQL stack, you will take responsibility for BI projects and you will be instrumental in defining our BI strategy which has a direct contribution to business decision making.

The work is both technical and creative in nature, requiring a solid understanding of the Microsoft stack together with an ability to work with business users to create solutions to their information needs and deliver the tools which will be flexible and powerful enough to gain insight across all aspects of the business.

In order to join this growing business you will need to be able to demonstrate:
  • An understanding of concepts and business processes
  • working with fresh ideas and contributing as appropriate.
  • A strong knowledge of the Microsoft stack of tools including SQL Server, T-SQL, SSRS, SSAS and SSIS.
  • Knowledge of other BI tools, such as Faststats, Power BI or Tableau would be an advantage.
