 So Why The Midlands?

Latest figures show growth in Birmingham is now outstripping that of any other major UK city.

The West Midlands is now the nation’s only exporter with a trade surplus with China. With a range of major developments and infrastructure projects on their way over the next couple of years, such as the New Street station redevelopment, Midland Metro light railway, HS2, more than one million square feet of new offices and a £1 billion investment in the City Centre Enterprise Zone, the Midlands is set to grow faster than any other region outside of London.

That’s not all that’s happening. There’s been considerable investment in the new state of the art Jaguar/Land Rover engine plant in Wolverhampton, the newly announced expansion of the MOD central logistics centre in Telford and the UK’s largest distribution and logistics hub at East Midlands Airport. Quite simply, there has never been a better time to look at the Midlands.

So what has the Midlands got to offer you?

There is set to be a huge growth in the number of new jobs in the region in 2016, with 44% of businesses planning to increase their workforce. We are seeing an increased demand for professionals across all sectors and salary levels are now challenging the South East.
