Calling all experienced Creative Directors

If you are a Creative Director or Creative Lead level and want to make a real impact in the exhibition/experiential space, this could be the opportunity for you.

We’re working with a well-established, growing design studio and exhibition specialist in the West Midlands, who is looking for a Creative Director to lead from the front. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can hit the ground running, shaping creative vision, inspiring teams, and delivering standout exhibition and experiential work for clients.

The Role
You will be sitting at the heart of the studio, owning the creative output and elevating the standard across every touch point. This is a balance of big-picture thinking and hands-on involvement.

You will:

• Lead and inspire a creative design team
• Own and shape creative direction across a variety of exhibitions.
• Drive concept development from brief through to delivery
• Play a key role in pitches, presentations, and client engagement
• Ensure alignment across design, production, and delivery teams
• Champion creativity, innovation, and high standards across the business

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience operating as a Creative Director or Creative Lead
• Experience with 3D design tools such as SketchUp
• Strong background in exhibition design, events, or experiential environments
• A creative portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and delivered work
• Confident client-facing presence with strong presentation skills
• Experience leading and developing creative teams
• A strategic mindset with the ability to balance creativity and commercial thinking
