Byte Night 2016 - we're roughing it again!

Bn

On Friday 7th October 2016, a team from GSA Techsource, Debbie Gregory, Jayne Morris, Louise Weir, Vi-Linh Ha, Jamie Conn, Ray Adams and Hannah Watson will be braving the cold wet autumn night and giving up our beds as we join Byte Night in Birmingham city centre.

Byte Night is an annual event in which people give up their cosy, warm beds in exchange for a sleeping bag and a night on the streets of Birmingham.  The reason for this is in an attempt to raise awareness (and precious donations) to help change the lives of thousands of young, vulnerable people based within the UK who are forced into homelessness through no fault of their own.

It is estimated that last year, 1 in 4 children thought about running away from home, seeing this as their only option to get away from difficult, complex personal situations, with half of those actually going through with it.

We are sleeping out on the city streets of Birmingham to try and raise this awareness and raise as much money as possible to support Action for Children.

Please, I ask that you all dig deep for this fantastic charity, even it means just donating a small amount, as little as £5.00 could go towards providing a youngster a warm meal.

You can make a donation to our team just giving page and we thank you in advance for your support for this very special charity.
