XP Support ends in 2014

Unless you are happy to pay somewhere between an alleged £150,000 and £350,000 for dedicated support, Microsoft is ending its support for Windows XP in April 2014. This will have a huge impact on the business desktop market with the majority of users having avoided a migration to Vista and holding onto XP for a few more years.
However, now is the time for users to consider and, more specifically, plan their XP to Windows 7 migrations. As a result we can expect to see the market for desktop specialists boom over the coming year, particularly project based contractors.
Are you currently planning your own migrations?
