This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Service Manager with CSI (continual service improvement) experience to play a pivotal UK role within Europe joining a large Global IT Services and Consultancy, who are globally recognised as one of the top employers.
In this varied role you will be instrumental in overseeing the implementation, adoption, monitoring, improvement and governance of the services delivered within the UK in alignment with the other EU countries. You will also take ownership of the continual service improvement programme.
The role will include the following and you need to be able demonstrate the synergies in your experience:
5 years or more experience of working with operational processes (Incident, Problem, Request, Event, Change etc.) in an enterprise scale support environment (preferably with a Service provider)
Experience of managing and leading a team
Excellent understanding of the ITIL v3 Framework (v3 ITIL Expert preferred)
Demonstrating in-depth knowledge of ITIL v3 best practice and the inter-relationships with other frameworks.
Experience in designing, implementing and improving processes – ideally skilled in
Lean Six Sigma to Yellow belt or above. Certification desirable
Skilled and experienced in setting up metrics, producing reporting and presentations suitable for use by senior management
Good conceptual understanding of IT infrastructure and networking
Possess the ability to positively influence all levels of management to ensure that service improvement activities are receiving the necessary support and are resourced sufficiently to implement solutions
