Carry out support maintenance and monitoring of the Hosted Desktop environment
Carry out support, maintenance and monitoring of the LAN, Perimeter Security and telephony environment.
Help to maintain cover of the ICT Service Desk to ensure SLA is met.
Respond to incidents in a timely manner as set out in the SLA; where ICT Systems are not functioning as designed or expected, you will be required to investigate, collate, and analyse complex technical information to identify the appropriate action to resolve the incident, including undertaking any configuration needed to meet business requirements
Respond to service requests from customers and colleagues in a timely manner as set out in the SLA and the service catalogue
Knowledge of the following:
1st and 2nd line technical support
Infrastructure Fundamentals: IP Networks, Directory Services, IP addressing and name resolution, email/SMTP, Web/HTTP, SQL, OS deployment, Client and server virtualisation
Microsoft Windows client operating systems
Microsoft Windows server operating systems
Microsoft Active Directory
Microsoft Exchange E-mail systems
VMware Virtual Desktop Infrastructure
Cisco and HP switching and routing
HP and Dell Client and Server Hardware
