Job Description
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SQL Server DBA (Database Administrator) to join a successful global company within the Financial Services Industry during this period of growth.
Working as part of a DBA team you will enjoy a varied and challenging role focused on supporting the SQL database estate ensuring stability, performance and the architecture. As well as BAU work, engineering functions and project delivery. You will enjoy a great working environment with great potential to develop your technical skills.
As a SQL DBA your experience will need to include the following:
- SQL DBA experience
- Wintel SA
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- OLTP
- Data Warehousing
- Networking
- Applications
- Project delivery
As well as being an experience SQL DBA, any exposure to Oracle, Linux/Unix, SAN storage, backup replication would be an advantage and a willingness to be involved in some work with these technologies an advantage.
