I am looking to recruit a Service Desk Technician on a contract basis for my NHS client until March 2017. The role will provide first and second line technical support to all users across the organisation which will include technical support around NHS Mail.
- Provide first line support to all users
- Provide first time fix solutions to IT problems recorded via the Service Desk
- Provide first and second-line technical support for hardware and software including:
- Answering ICT Service desk calls and responding to users by deciding on relevant method of assistance
- Understanding and interpreting the complex technical issues
- Using initiative to solve problems with reference to broad operating procedures
