Job Description

GSA Techsource are currently working with a Global IT Solution Provider to recruit a Service Desk Manager to be based in their Manchester office.

To be successful in this role you will have previously held a Service Desk Lead or manager position. You will have managed ticket queues, SLAs, KPIs and the customer experience. You are able to speak to both technical and business users to translate customer requirements into solutions.

  • Worked within a 24/7 environment with the associated escalations that may be required
  • ITIL foundation qualification (minimum)
  • Hands on experience with service desk / ITSM and remote-control software
  • Solid technical background with an ability to give instructions to a non-technical audience
  • Customer-service oriented with a problem-solving attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Team management or 3rd party management skills
  • Experience with Office 365, Azure Active directory, Exchange Online, Teams & SharePoint
  • Experience with Active Directory, Exchange, Windows server
  • Basic networking skills (DHCP / DNS) – Routers, firewalls & Switches
  • Reporting experience
  • ServiceNow Experience
  • Microsoft Licensing knowledge
  • Microsoft certifications
  • Knowledge of integration products
