You will be an experienced Server Support engineer with proven Virtualisation experience around Hyper V / App V (SoftGrid) in an Enterprise environment.

The team is 15 strong and split into 1st / 2nd / 3rd line support areas. This role is for a member of the 3rd line support team responsible for managing and maintaining the Windows Server estate. You will be part of a team responsible for leading the IT server estate and infrastructure forward; Helping them maximise their current investment in Microsoft Technologies including Windows Server 2012R2, Hyper-V 2012R2, Active Directory 2012R2 and the entire System Centre 2012R2 suite as well as Microsoft Azure. This role focuses heavily on both software and hardware. This role is split between BAU (40%) and Project work (60%).
Any of the following would be highly desirable:
Microsoft System Centre Suite (especially SCCM, SCOM, MOM, WSUS)
Application Packaging and Automated Deployment using Microsoft tools
Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policies
