Job Description

GSA are looking for 2 O365 Transformation PMO's to join their financial sector clients O365 programme, this is is a remote position and will be inside IR35.

The O365 Transformation PMO will focus on owning & establishing an enhanced PMO capability within the in-flight, fast paced O365 Programme. Evolution of the existing PMO standards & processes, bringing a structured approach to programme tracking to plan and ensuring full integration of all projects at programme-level to provide the data required by the Programme Manager. Working with the clients strategic partner to ensure consistent reporting and status alignment. Ensuring PMO standards are adhered to and data is up-to-date. Preparation of management meeting decks and management meeting minute taking are critical in this role.

Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Programme reporting to plan – structured, data driven programme-level reporting
  • Programme planning, plan tracking & updates
  • Creation of management meeting slide decks
  • Management meeting minute taking
  • Ownership of programme PMO standards
  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Following-up with key stakeholders on open actions/tasks and driving to closure
  • Ensure programme products are maintained and up-to-date
  • Organise, and when required run, project meetings, owning meeting minutes
  • Monitor programme-level issues, risks, assumptions and dependencies, owning the associated logs, and highlighting critical items to the Programme Manager
  • Monitor actions and decisions, driving to closure dates and owning associated logs
  • Work with the Programme’s Project Managers to align programme planning with detailed project delivery plans
  • Dashboard reporting and tracking of metrics where required
  • Take ownership of specific risks, issues and provide coordination
  • Form strong working relationships with key stakeholders

3 key objectives critical to success of the role:
  • Proven PMO skillset with some project management experience
  • Good high-level knowledge of global IT programme delivery
  • Confident and articulate in communication
Qualifications Required:
PRINCE2, APMP, MSP or equivalent

Skills and Experience:
  • PMO experience in global transformation programmes (essential)
  • Creation of management meeting decks and taking of management meeting minutes
  • Demonstrable experience in gathering and structuring data for productive use, both management view and SME level (essential)
  • Experience of working in regulated environments (highly desirable)
  • Demonstrable experience of creating/developing and implementing PMO standards for global programmes (essential)
  • Experience of working with Strategic Partners / third party vendors
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office products, in particular PowerPoint and Excel
  • Office 365 transformation programmes (desirable)
