Job Description
We are looking for a hands on Network Deployment engineer with excellent project management skills to manage a number of deployments across LAN, WAN, Firewalls on site within a financial services organisation.
You will need the following skills:
- Strong experience in telecommunications, the last 3 of which have been in design and deployment of WAN’s and LAN’s based on Cisco Ethernet switching product range. Provider side MPLS also required
- Experience and design and deployment of private WAN’s, including transport protocols such as SDH Leased lines, carrier Ethernet, EoMPLS, VPLS
- Experience in deployment of Carrier based L3 MPLS VPN Networks
- Experience in deployment of Firewall products
- Experience in deployment of Riverbed SteelHead
- Strong Project Management, requirement gathering, design and technical design proposals experience also required
