Job Description

IT Support Services Technician/2nd Line Support required for a large organisation to provide IT Support to the Trust and other supported users.  We’re looking for a highly experiences 2nd Line Support Technician who has previous NHS experience.


The role:

  • Providing desktop support and maintenance services across the Trust
  • Providing IT support and advice to all users of PCs, laptops and tablets
  • Provide an escalation path for Health Informatics Service Desk colleagues, escalating and liaising with suppliers, third part suppliers when necessary
  • Second-line technical support for hardware and software
  • To be able to act as incident manager for the IT Support Services team when needed
 

Person specification:
  • NHS experience
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Able to support people via telephone and remotely
  • Windows skills
