The opportunity to take ownership in this role will allow you to create and lead the UK IT Services organisation; building a strong and lasting relationship to the global shared service team. You’ll own the design, deployment and operation of IT Services in the UK, through a combination of global and regional service offerings, forming a catalogue aligned to business needs.
You will be leading the department through this time of change you’ll advance and influence global infrastructure investment and interests and establish SLA’s, OLA’s and KPI’s to manage the performance of internal and external resources and drive Service Improvement Plans. Being visible is key so the role holder will personally act when required for major events, incidents and problems to contain the impact and prevent recurrence whilst putting in place mechanisms for event, incident and problem management.
To be able to do the above all you’ll need is
- Experience of having led an IT Service organisation, or the majority of the sub-functions within an IT Service organisation.
- Qualified in ITIL or equivalent – experience of implementing ITIL within an organisation.
- ServiceNow experience desirable.
- Experience of working in Distribution, Engineering and Manufacturing business desirable.
- Have driven or been a part of a change or transformation project.
