Helpdesk Analyst (1st Line / 2nd Line support)

£18,000 - £21,000

Lichfield commutable from Burton on Trent, Tamworth, Walsall, Sutton Coldfield

An exciting opportunity to join an expanding IT support team based in the clients head office in Lichfield where the Technical Support Manager ensures they are working with the latest technologies as a business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with 1st line Helpdesk/Technical Support experience to develop their skills and to keep up to date with the latest technologies.

Duties will include;
  1. Providing support to end users via the phone, email and in person.
  2. Logging all calls and progress all calls on the IT Services system.
  3. Carrying out training to employees on software, IT equipment or systems.
  4. Installing or maintaining company IT equipment
  5. Raising orders for new IT equipment when required and authorised.
The Successful candidate will have sound working knowledge on Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2010, and an understanding of computer hardware including installing and troubleshooting printers.
