Job Description
Scrum Masters are an essential component of our clients multi-disciplinary Agile teams.
You will ensure Agile techniques are adhered to by the Scrum team, acting as a mentor and coach on best practices to ensure that the team maximises the benefits that the Agile development methodology provides.
Support the management by providing: business data validation and technical elaboration; mapping requirements to solution architecture and dependent systems; identifying technical specifications and interface definitions; manage IT stakeholders to deliver IT changes in line with project requirements; and produce delivery specifications.
Delivery tasks include: working with the team to identify lifecycles for delivering IT changes in line with the programme roadmap; liaising with system owners and suppliers through design, development, testing and implementation phases; integration of delivery plans to ensure that key inbound/outbound dependencies are understood and managed; ensure that commercial and financial approval processes are followed; collate and evaluate costs across delivery options; add input to testing strategy and aid issue resolution.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in delivering high quality digital projects and products.
Proven experience using Agile project management methods.
Experience of management - setting direction, coaching/managing staff and being an enabler of change.
Proven experience working in a similar role
Proven experience balancing multiple priorities on large-scale, high-visibility projects and employing techniques to deal with ambiguity.
Proven ability to challenge and remove any unnecessary barriers to service delivery.
Demonstrable experience in coaching and mentoring multi-disciplinary teams in agile best practice techniques.
