Our London based client is looking for an experienced Data Architect / Technical IT Project Lead to coordinate the design, delivery and implementation of a trading systems replacement project coupled with a data management solution. The candidate will also coordinate the integration of relevant internal systems and the management of appropriate IT Security and Test Strategy requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the design and delivery of detailed target data architecture to be used as a key input into the trading systems replacement and integration project. Experience in treasury management or back-office systems in an investment banking environment would be useful. A good knowledge of central government project processes and procedures would be an advantage but is not essential.
At least 10 years Data Architect experience and System Integration knowledge
Recent experience in an investment banking type of environment, ideally having implemented a light central data store to assist in major systems integration.
Taking the Technical Integration lead in Projects including delivering IT Security, Test Strategy and IT Capability building including Vendor liaison • Implementation experience working to deliver alongside a major treasury management or back-office system
Good knowledge of finance and banking data
Data analytical skills
Analysing legacy databases
Defining ETL transformation
Dataset target architecture SQL Server 2016 using SSIS
Analyse existing SQL Server 2000-2008 using DTS, and Oracle 11
