Are you a recent grad or a college leaver with some experience in IT Service Desk Support?

Are you looking for a fresh challenge where you’ll be able to grow and develop your technical skills working for a forward-thinking tech business?

I’m currently working with a celebrated software vendor with offices in Leeds – they’re looking for someone to join them in a junior capacity who they can shape, develop and train into a technically challenging consultant role.

They are currently going through a sustained period of growth and are looking to bring in some fresh faces to help with supporting their customers. You’ll benefit from ongoing training, opportunities to develop your career and a really friendly, approachable working environment.

What will keep you busy?

Well, the role will be hugely varied in terms of the support you provide. One day you’ll be working in a service desk environment resolving customer questions, the next you’ll be shadowing the more experience team members whilst they resolve some very complex application issues. Further into your career in the business, you could be out with clients setting up new systems or even training users on software.

What’s the salary and package?

A competitive starting salary of £20 - £22K with a huge variety of benefits thrown in too. You’ll benefit from a training programme and a set of highly supportive and engaging colleagues too.

What skills do you already need to have?

Strictly nothing but a basis of IT Knowledge and a strong appetite to learn! Some or all of the following would help you to progress really quickly:
  • Desktop support – Windows 7/10, Exchange, Printers and Internet connection support
  • Technical Troubleshooting
  • Remote Desktop Support
  • Windows Server basics
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Being customer focused
