Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Agile Coach / Scrum master to help our client create their next generation of cutting-edge applications. You will work closely with other stakeholders, developers, domain experts and customers in a creative environment to ensure agile teams work as effectively and productively as possible.

They are a Scrum team, leveraging industry standard Agile approaches to software development such as Stories and Story points, sprints, retrospectives, agile estimating techniques and a focus on test-driven quality disciplines and software craftsmanship. We develop software applications using leading-edge Java & JavaScript technologies and tools.

Demonstrating strong knowledge of and background with Agile concepts
Possessing prior experience coaching teams in Agile adoption or as a Scrum Master
Experience of running distributed agile teams
Have previous technical software development experience
Exposure to Java and Javascript programming languages
Having some background or coursework in Computer Science

Scrum Coach certification
Scrum Master certification
Behaviour Driven Development and supporting tools (Cucumber, JBehave etc)
Experience coaching at large organizations with non-co-located development teams
Scrum sprint management using Jira

Strong interpersonal skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to follow and suggest improvements to procedures
Ability to communicate both technical and non-technical information, depending upon the audience
Excellent client facing and presentation skills

The role will be based north of Bristol, near Bradley Stoke and Patchway. It is close to the M4 and M5 motorways and the Almondsbury Interchange. Parking is provided.
